STEPHANUS (FANIE) LE ROUX

Missionary Doctor
Max Shaff writes: Fanie was a quiet, devout, gentle fellow. I believe he was a Seventh Day Adventist and that although fluent in English, Afrikaans was his mother tongue.

Some years ago, I located him on the internet probably on the Doximity site and located a photograph of a bearded missionary Doctor. I have recently searched for him to no avail. His name was Fanie which is derived from Stephanus and I note that he was enrolled at Wits as JS Fanie LeRoux.

I have reason to believe he did his internship at Baragwanath Hospital. He obtained his degree in June 1961.
